Studio concepts

Twenty website templates for twenty industries.

Each one is a fully built site rather than a mock-up — with structure, copy and imagery for its industry. What becomes of it for your business is set out below in four steps.

01The templates

Twenty industries, twenty built sites

02Honestly

What a template is — and what it is not

Not a kit to pick from
You do not choose a template and move in. It is the starting point for structure and stance; brand, imagery and content are made for your business.
Not a skin to drop on top
The load-bearing form follows the figure that carries your business. For a machine shop that is a quantity grid, for a practice it is waiting time — the same shape for both would be right for neither.
No invented client references
All twenty brands are made up and labelled as such. Anyone selling you concepts as client work will later sell you figures nobody measured.
Not a thirty-euro theme
A bought theme costs less and looks similar at first. The difference shows in week two: in load time, in how the content is structured, and in every change nobody planned for.

03How it works

How yours comes out of it

Four steps. The first one decides everything that follows.

  1. 01

    Find the figure

We look for the one number in your business that your customers actually care about and your competitors leave out. It comes from your records, not from our imagination.

  2. 02

    Build the form for it

The figure produces the load-bearing section — a table, a matrix, a timeline. Colours and typefaces come after that, not before.

  3. 03

    Brand and imagery

Palette, typefaces and motifs are made for your business. We use existing photographs where they carry; missing motifs we produce or source.

  4. 04

    Build and measure

Built, measured and checked in real browsers — Chromium on the desktop, Safari on iPhone and iPad. What does not measure does not ship.
