Web design for law firms and tax advisors

Clients look for orientation before the first conversation: does the practice area fit, does the firm understand their situation, and how does initial contact work? Your website should answer that calmly and credibly - within the tight advertising limits of professional conduct rules.

01

The first question is whether you cover the area of law.

Someone looking for a lawyer has a specific problem and little patience for sorting it out.

On many law firm websites, practice areas, responsibilities and the first consultation sit side by side unsorted. We order them by the question people arrive with.

02

Say what you do - within professional conduct rules.

The website must show competence while respecting the tight advertising limits of the profession.

Organise practice areas clearly

Specialisms and responsibilities are sorted around the client's question, not the firm's internal structure.

Evidence competence factually

Admission, specialist titles and focus areas sit where someone looks for them: with the person and with the area of law.

Make initial contact clear

Process, required documents and availability for the first consultation are stated clearly, including urgent cases.

03

From the legal question to the right contact.

Five areas that carry a law firm site - the cut follows your practice areas.

  1. 01

    Practice areas & tax topics

Each area explains what the firm handles and which cases are typical - in plain language.

  2. 02

    Lawyers & tax advisors

Qualification, specialism and responsibility are clearly assigned to each person.

  3. 03

    Client process

From the initial consultation to ongoing representation, the process is explained clearly.

  4. 04

    Articles & insights

Short notes on legal changes and on the questions that come in every week anyway.

  5. 05

    Initial consultation

Booking, required documents and availability for urgent cases are unambiguous.

04

The details a client can verify.

Trust comes from qualifications a client can look up in the bar directory.

Admissions & specialist titles

Bar admission, specialist lawyer titles and specialisation are stated correctly and completely.

Confidentiality & data protection

How client data is transmitted and stored is stated on the site - not only in the privacy policy.

Chambers & associations

Memberships and professional bodies appear where they support a claim.

Mandates & references

Experience is shown through anonymised case types without breaching client confidentiality.

05

People search for a situation first and a firm second.

Anyone searching for a law firm usually already has a concrete situation - starting a company, an inheritance, a tax audit. The page structure needs to answer those situations directly.

  • The right practice area or tax topic for a specific concern
  • A particular life or business situation such as founding a company, inheritance or a tax audit
  • An accessible firm in the client's own location with a clear initial contact route

How we work

After the order and a complete brief, your website is usually ready within a few days - built, hosted and online. The binding date is in your quote, because it depends on the scope. Changes after that are normally done within three working days.

  1. 01

    Inquiry & quote

You describe your plans and get a binding fixed-price quote.

  2. 02

    Draft & build

We develop the design and the SEO strategy and build your site from scratch.

  3. 03

    Go-live

Your site is finished and goes online. You connect your domain with a DNS record - usually done in under five minutes.

  4. 04

    Ongoing care

Depending on your plan we keep developing the site, install security updates and change or add content on request.

07

Law & tax firms: what a website costs.

That puts us above what you will read elsewhere while comparing. The difference is in the scope: structure and design are made for your company rather than taken from a template, copy and images we take from you or create ourselves, and the site is built so that Google and AI search can read and quote it. Work outside the packages is billed at €120 per hour, announced and approved before it starts.

What a website costs

The company website starts at €6,900 plus VAT, the website system with its own editing area at €14,900. After launch the site stays with us: €49 a month for hosting, updates, backups and monitoring - or €499 a month for full care, which includes ongoing changes, active SEO work and new content.

You get the binding fixed price for your project after a short call, usually within one working day.

Web design for law firms in practice.

Law & tax firms: what does a website cost?
The company website starts at €6,900 plus VAT, the website system at €14,900. Hosting and care start at €49 a month on top. You get the binding fixed price for your project after a short call, usually within one working day.
How long until the website is online?
Usually a few days after the order and a complete brief; the binding date is in your quote. We do the building: structure and design come out of what you tell us rather than out of a questionnaire you fill in. From you we need company details, existing text and images and a sign-off - whatever is missing, we create.
Who changes copy and images later?
On the care plan at €499 a month you tell us and we do it, usually within three working days. If you would rather edit yourself, take the website system: it includes an editing area where you manage pages, images and whole collections without us.
What happens to our existing website?
It stays online until the new one is ready. We build in parallel on a preview link, carry over the content that still works, and redirect the old addresses to the new ones so Google and shared links still arrive. Your domain moves on the day you approve.
What content does a law firm website need?
Typically practice areas, team, initial-consultation process, articles, contact and the legally required disclosures. The exact scope follows your areas of practice.
Who reviews advertising claims?
We structure information and draft clear copy. Advertising and professionally regulated claims are approved by the firm before publication; for doubts, we recommend checking with the relevant chamber.
Can the firm be found for several practice areas?
Yes, when each practice area gets its own page with useful content - in the words a client uses to describe their situation rather than in statute references. How visibility develops is something you see in the ranking reports on the care plan.
Do you build a contact form for case enquiries?
Yes, without a free-text field for the facts of the case. What a client writes about their case belongs in encrypted transit and in your file. The form takes the concern, the practice area and how to reach them; the rest is settled in conversation.
Law firm and tax advice on one site - does that work?
Yes, and for combined practices it is the normal case. Both professions have their own advertising rules, § 43b BRAO on one side and the Steuerberatungsgesetz on the other. We separate the areas, state admission and chamber per person, and keep the mandatory disclosures complete for both.
