Web design for skilled trade businesses

Good work is often judged on a phone before an enquiry. Clear services, real project images, a transparent process and the right service area turn that quick look into trust.

01

Lechner Haustechnik publishes its hourly rate and says when the out-of-hours surcharge applies.

The template shows the rates for technician, master craftsman and call-out. Next to them sits the surcharge table by time of day and weekday, with the line that the surcharge falls on labour and never on materials. Fourteen completed jobs are documented with photographs, grouped by trade.

Invented brand, built template

Lechner Haustechnik is an invented company, not a client engagement. The template is fully built - what it becomes for your company follows from your trades, your rates and the area you cover.

Anyone given your name looks at your website first.

Prospects want to see whether their exact project fits your business.

A generic services page rarely answers that. We connect individual trades with real work, process, region and an enquiry route that reduces poor-fit contacts.

03

Make craftsmanship visible and easy to enquire about.

The experience needs to be fast without reducing quality to a before-and-after feed.

Separate the services

Each core service explains the result, typical starting point and sensible next step.

Show real work

Original project images are placed in context through task, material and execution.

Pre-qualify enquiries

Location, service, timing and images help assess effort and fit early.

04

Short routes for local decisions.

The website leads from service and project evidence to a realistic enquiry.

  1. 01

    Services

Core trades receive understandable pages rather than one long keyword list.

  2. 02

    Reference projects

Images and short case descriptions show quality, style and suitable project sizes.

  3. 03

    Process

From site visit and quote to execution and handover, expectations are made clear.

  4. 04

    Service area

Honestly named regions prevent false expectations and support local relevance.

  5. 05

    Project enquiry

A focused form collects the facts needed for an initial assessment.

05

What a client wants to see before calling.

People trust what they can understand about the business, quality and approach.

Master craft & experience

Qualifications and company history are specific without becoming a long chronology.

Original project photos

Your own photographs from recent jobs, each with the task, the material and the execution underneath.

Traceable reviews

Reviews appear with their source, so a prospect can look them up.

Qualifications

Relevant training, approvals and partnerships sit beside the matching service.

06

Service plus place is only the beginning.

Local searches usually contain a specific problem, desired result or urgent repair. The content should answer that situation.

  • The right specialist for a clearly named trade
  • A specific service, repair or modernisation
  • Availability within the actual service area

How we work

After the order and a complete brief, your website is usually ready within a few days - built, hosted and online. The binding date is in your quote, because it depends on the scope. Changes after that are normally done within three working days.

  1. 01

    Inquiry & quote

You describe your plans and get a binding fixed-price quote.

  2. 02

    Draft & build

We develop the design and the SEO strategy and build your site from scratch.

  3. 03

    Go-live

Your site is finished and goes online. You connect your domain with a DNS record - usually done in under five minutes.

  4. 04

    Ongoing care

Depending on your plan we keep developing the site, install security updates and change or add content on request.

Skilled trades: what a website costs.

That puts us above what you will read elsewhere while comparing. The difference is in the scope: structure and design are made for your company rather than taken from a template, copy and images we take from you or create ourselves, and the site is built so that Google and AI search can read and quote it. Work outside the packages is billed at €120 per hour, announced and approved before it starts.

What a website costs

The company website starts at €6,900 plus VAT, the website system with its own editing area at €14,900. After launch the site stays with us: €49 a month for hosting, updates, backups and monitoring - or €499 a month for full care, which includes ongoing changes, active SEO work and new content.

You get the binding fixed price for your project after a short call, usually within one working day.

A website suited to the business.

Skilled trades: what does a website cost?
The company website starts at €6,900 plus VAT, the website system at €14,900. Hosting and care start at €49 a month on top. You get the binding fixed price for your project after a short call, usually within one working day.
How long until the website is online?
Usually a few days after the order and a complete brief; the binding date is in your quote. We do the building: structure and design come out of what you tell us rather than out of a questionnaire you fill in. From you we need company details, existing text and images and a sign-off - whatever is missing, we create.
Who changes copy and images later?
On the care plan at €499 a month you tell us and we do it, usually within three working days. If you would rather edit yourself, take the website system: it includes an editing area where you manage pages, images and whole collections without us.
What happens to our existing website?
It stays online until the new one is ready. We build in parallel on a preview link, carry over the content that still works, and redirect the old addresses to the new ones so Google and shared links still arrive. Your domain moves on the day you approve.
Is a new website worthwhile for a small trade business?
It can be when the current site does not reliably show services, quality or the enquiry route. We do not recommend a scope your business does not need.
Do we need professional photography?
Good original images are especially valuable for trades. We plan a clear shot list; photo or video production around Nuremberg and Erlangen is optionally available on request.
Do you create a page for every town?
Only where the business genuinely operates and can provide useful distinct content. We avoid interchangeable location copies that add little value.
How do new project photos keep reaching the site?
On the care plan you send us the photos from your phone and we place them with task and material, usually within three working days. In the website system you create a project yourself, with the same fields every time.
Does the website help with hiring?
That is now the second most common reason trades have a new website built. A dedicated page for open positions - with the team, the vehicles, the hours and a named contact - works because an applicant looks the business over first. It is the same site that convinces your customers.
